Building on this strong foundation, the business achieved a significant milestone in 1998 with the acquisition of its first commercial property — a move that marked the beginning of a focused expansion into asset-backed growth. In 2006, the retail division underwent a key phase of expansion, further strengthening the group’s market presence and operational scale.

Over the years, the business experienced sustained and rapid growth, ultimately forming the foundation of the diversified holding structure under management today. Recognizing the need for enhanced strategic oversight and scalability, key portfolios were consolidated into Delmont International in 2017 to drive focused expansion and professional portfolio management.

In the same year, Zafar Moosa was appointed Chairman and CEO. He holds a degree in Commerce, majoring in Finance, Economics, and Supply Chain Management.
